SICILIAN MANDARIN

Mandarin is a complex citrus fruit. In the cycle from flower to unripe fruit to ripe fruit, its scents vary. Reconstructing them in their entirety, eliminating all processing interference, was our tribute to this gift of the land of Sicily.

We would not have been able to do this without the contribution of innovation, that is, new extraction methods that never before have been put at the service of tradition. With three different essential oils we recreated the scent of the fruit in all its parts: the green mandarin, very delicate and volatile, the full essential oil, and finally the yellow mandarin.

The olfactory experience is intoxicating. Like experiencing different seasons in one time: the flower, the green leaf, the peel with almost bitter notes and the sweet flesh. Jasmine, Geranium and Amber complete the bouquet. The result is a powerful fragrance that transports us to Sicily: it is a beautiful sunny day, the rays warm the fruit and draw from it an enveloping, suave scent…
